As we all know, our top 3 identified problem was an increasing number of hypertensive individuals. To address the problem, we came up with a project entitled “detect-protect-correct campaign” and one of the activities under the project was to conduct health education about hypertension.
Last march 9, 2023 was one of the fulfilling days for team Hiraya because we have successfully conducted a health education about hypertension.
Included in the activity were the following:
- To invite a reliable speaker
- To invite the individuals who are clinically diagnosed with hypertension
- To conduct a pretest, lecture on hypertension, and post test
We are so satisfied with the result of the post test of our attendees, it shows that we were able to improve their knowledge on hypertension. We are thankful for having Dr. Lester Ebrahim as our health educator, for imparting his knowledge to the community people.
As a medical student and a future doctor, we really care about the health of the community people so when we conduct activity like this, we really put our heart and 100% effort on it.
