March 25, 2022 marks the first day of the community immersion of Team Hiraya to the barangay Dulian, Upper Pasonanca, Zamboanga City. The Team had prepared a household survey questionnaire that was given to a sample of households in the population of barangay. These survey questionnaires consist of collection of a comprehensive and diverse socio-demographic data pertaining to conditions under their welfare, demographic characteristics, and cultural factors that influence health, behavior, as well as social and economic changes in the barangay. The survey also provides considerable discretion about the information provided by residents regarding the general state of the barangay which plays a major role in assessing the existence of the barangay’s health-related problems.
The barangay has a large proximity in terms of its land area separating it into four zones. The house-to-house survey of the team started on the 28th of March 2022 in zone 1 where 64 households were visited, followed by zone 2 on March 30, 2022 where 65 HH was visited, and zone 3 on April 5, 2022 where 67 HH was visited, and lastly, 39 HH in zone 4 was visited on April 7, 2022. Hence, the team visited 235 households with a total of 1,110 population in the combined four zones of barangay Dulian.
